1375 Bishop Ludwig von Weingarten leases to Sebastiani (20.1) Ulrich dem Pfefferlehner the Pöder - Pinter estate against payment of 3 Yhren of "Maszerei" Merano wine.

1570 The Pfefferlehen becomes the "Außerpfefferlehen" farm.

1578 Assignment of the coat of arms for special merits with the reign and the crown.

1779 Bartholomäus builds the oven.

1879 Josef, master cooper and inn-keeper, enlarges the building.
Soon enough the Pöder inn becomes famous throughout the town; under the cool vaults of the original building and in the wood-panelled "stube" the best foods and drinks are served, and sometimes the candles burn all the way down at the tables of especially happy diners.
Then, in 1978, the hotel that had been restored in the meantime, is extended considerably with the addition of a new and large building. Today the aim of the current owner of the hotel is to maintain the traditional level of hospitality while offering modern amenities.
